From The Editors

With this issue, we start our fifth volume of TESL-EJ. Over the years we have existed, we have had the assistance of many fine scholars, and we wish to thank them and acknowledge their support of the journal.

It is with great sadness and appreciation that we note Suzanne Irujo's resignation from her long tenure as Book Review Editor for TESL-EJ. Suzanne has been with the journal since its inception, and has been instrumental in its success. She has been tireless in her efforts, and the sort of person we all like to work with: cheerful, prompt, brilliant, and accurate. We would like to thank her publicly for her years of service and support, and wish her luck in her future endeavors. Sorel Friedman (Université de Montréal) takes over as TESL-EJ Book Review Editor, and we thank her as well for taking over this daunting responsibility.

We are also sorry to add Susan Foster-Cohen to our list of emeritus Board members. Susan is now in New Zealand, and we wish her the best, and thank her for her participation.

TESL-EJ is always looking for new board members. If you know someone you would like to nominate, or would like to nominate yourself, please contact us at sokolik@socrates.berkeley.edu with your qualifications. We are also desperately in need of qualified reviewers for manuscripts.

As always, we hope you enjoy this issue. We strive to bring quality information to you at no charge. We rely on your support, kind words, and assistance in keeping us going.

Best wishes,

Maggie Sokolik
