Greetings,
This, our 46th issue of the journal, should provide you with a lot of good reading in a diverse number of topics: First, for our main articles, we have "Merging a Metalinguistic Grammar Approach with L2 Academic Process Writing: ELLs in Community College," by Paul J. Camhi & Miriam Eisenstein Ebsworth. Next, "Teacher Language in ESL Face-To-Face and Written Electronic Discussions, by Michael Fitze & Hedy M. McGarrell, and finally, "Web-Based Music Study: The Effects of Listening Repetition, Song Likeability, and Song Understandability on EFL Learning Perceptions and Outcomes," by Robert Beasley & Yuangshan Chuang. (Prof. McGarrell's edited volume, Language Teacher Research in the Americas, is also reviewed in this issue.)
Our media review looks at Wimba, and On the Internet at a topic dear to my own heart: digital storytelling.
With the next issue, we are hoping to begin presenting the journal in the framework of a content management system (CMS), which should make it easier to bring each issue to you in a timely and consistent manner.
As always, we appreciate your continued support of the journal.
Best wishes,
Maggie Sokolik, EditorThomas Robb, Co-Editor
