Support Open Access ESL & EFL Research \u2013 Keep TESL-EJ Free<\/h4>\n

TESL-EJ is a pioneering open-access journal that has been freely sharing high-quality research and resources in English as a Second or Foreign Language (ESL\/EFL) since 1994\u2014long before “open access” was even a phrase. Today, it serves as an internationally recognized, peer-reviewed academic journal, connecting educators, researchers, and learners worldwide.<\/p>\n

TESL-Ej has managed to finance its hosting services with the small royalty payments we receive from academic reprinting services. However, in order to keep up with scholars\u2019 current expectations, we started assigning DOIs to our articles in 2022. This is costing in the region of another $300 annually, which is currently being covered by contributions by the EJ staff. This is not a viable option in the long-run, so we have established a link for donations: https:\/\/gofund.me\/99eaa00e<\/a>. The names of recent donors will be thanked on this page unless they request anonymity, and will form a historical record of contributions.<\/p>\n
