Dear Readers,
Welcome to another great set of articles related to the teaching and learning of English. This issue is unusual in having each contribution coming from a different country: UK, JP, TR, CY, AU, BT, CN, VN, TW, ES, US, ID, and MY. How familiar are you with Internet country codes?
Tips for having your submission accepted smoothly for review. As mentioned in the previous edition of From the Editor, a large proportion of the submissions sadly have to be rejected or sent back for improvements before they are sent to the review stage. You can avoid disappointmnet by going through our Checklist for preparing your academic article for submission to TESL-EJ. While some of the items on the checklist may be revised at later points in the editorial process, ignoring the items bearing an asterisk (*) usually results in instant rejection, so please do not rush through this step even though you are anxious to submit your paper quickly.
Passages. Our Managing Editor, Seyed Abdollah Shahrokni, will be starting a new position at Texas A&M University as the Open Publishing Platform Manager. His experience with managing both TESOL Journal and TESL-EJ has stood him in good stead. Fortunately for us, he intends to continue his position with TESL-EJ, as well. Congratulations, Abdollah!
