Dear Readers,
As many readers already know, TESL-EJ is a free-access journal with no connection to any publisher big or small. We have managed to finance the hosting services with the small royalty payments we receive from academic reprinting services. However, in order to keep up with scholars’ current expectations, we started assigning DOIs to our articles in 2022. This is costing in the region of another $300 annually, which is currently being covered by contributions by the EJ staff. This is not a viable option in the long-run, so we have established a link for donations: https://gofund.me/99eaa00e. The names of recent donors will be thanked at the bottom of this page unless they request anonymity. We have also established a “Support” page which will maintain a historical record of contributions.

Passages. We deeply regret the passing of Dr. Eli Hinkel who has been a supporter of TESL-EJ since its inception. An appreciation of Dr. Hinkel’s work will surely appear soon. The link will be noted here.
